My name is McKenzie and I am a New York City based illustrator with roots in Appalachia Ohio.

Starting the moment I could hold a pencil, I delighted in creating relatable and eccentric characters; predominately inspired by Tim Burton, Shel Silverstein, Jann Brett and Roald Dahl imagery.  Van Gogh and Monet influenced the scenery in which my characters lived.

When I am not drawing, painting, or taking a stroll on the NYC streets, you can find me cuddled up on the couch with my cats, Pretzel and Tarmac, enjoying the next addictive Netflix binge.
